Clay Pottery Class- Frog Houses, Gnomes, and All Things Fairyville

Clay Pottery Class- Frog Houses, Gnomes, and All Things Fairyville

Join this fun and quirky pottery class to make a frog house, gnomes, and All-Things-Fairyville! You will use earth clay to hand-build a frog house decorated in your personal style (bring some sketches if you can). Then, you will learn about and construct gnomes that seem to come alive with character. Use your remaining time to make All Things Fairyville! You decide what and how you want to use clay to make your final pieces. The completed work will be fired and you will return another day to glaze them. The finished pieces will be available for pick up at Noblesville Creates Center starting on March 3rd during the First Friday event. The instructor is local arts teacher Darlene Patterson. Cost per Participant: $30. What to Bring: Participants should bring a 6 to 12" bowl and any special texturizing tools you might want to use. When in the Lacy Building, where warm clothes! Age range: Grade 3 to Adult (5th grade or younger need an adult present). No experience needed but it is helpful.
