Indiana’s Great Eclipse: A scholastic journey into the past, present, and future

Dr. Tom Sale and Dr. Donna Jurdy will be sharing knowledge about eclipses, space history, and the search for alien intelligence. Registration is required.

Mixing history and science about past eclipses is a truly fascinating journey. There are many references about ancient eclipses these stories sometimes lead to folklore that grow into generational legends. Dr. Tom Sale is Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering and Past Director of The Center for Hydrology in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University.

Dr. Donna Jurdy is a distinguished lecturer for the Association for Women Geoscientists and professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Northwestern University.
