01 Jun Intermediate Stained Glass (2-day)
July 20 & 21 | 6 to 8:30 p.m. | Ages 12+ | $149 per person
Now that you've learned the basics, this two-day, intermediate class will cover several new topics to expand your knowledge as you create a larger project than in the beginner class. During the construction of your piece, we will talk about how to design a pattern and prepare your templates from that pattern, how to use stained glass patina to "color" your solder joints after the project is soldered, and the different methods available to frame your piece. While you're working on your project, there will be plenty of time for general questions as well. Hand tools will be available for use during class, and supplies are included in the class cost. All registrants must have completed the prerequisite class, Stained Glass for Beginners, or must have basic experience with glass cutting, copper foil, and soldering. This class is offered in partnership with Master Repurposers and held at Maker Playground's Think Tank.
