14 Mar Six Week Wheel Class: Beginner’s
Did you know wheel throwing is one of the oldest crafts? Get your hands dirty the ancient way and join our beginner's wheel class. This is an hour and a half long class that teaches you to center, pierce, pull and generally get covered in mud. This class meets Saturdays beginning April 1- May 6th. The last week is reserved for painting.
Your class registration provides clay, wheel time, and a tool kit. It is suggested that you bring a small bucket (about 1 gallon) and wear clothes you can move well in and get dirty. This class will focus on wedging, centering and throwing a basic tumbler. If there is time in class your instructor will review attaching handles.
