StoryWalk at West Park: Kite Flying

StoryWalk at West Park: Kite Flying

Families can enjoy a nature walk and story by participating in our bilingual StoryWalk at West Park on West 116th Street.

Celebrate National Kite Flying Month by visiting West Park (2700 W. 116th St.) during the month of April, when CCPL will be partnering with Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, the Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Committee, and the Indy Asian American Times to present a bilingual StoryWalk featuring the book Kite Flying by Grace Lin. Follow the signs from the northwest corner of the parking lot and around Jill's Hill to read this book about a family building and flying kites. West Park is a perfect place for kite flying, so you may want to bring along your own kite to fly too!

This story has been translated into Simplified Chinese by the Indy Asian American Times and the Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Committee.
