Summer Camps Noblesville Area

Summer is here and that means it’s time for Art Camps!  The Noblesville Cultural Arts District hosts a variety of art camps with accomplished teachers and fun themes.  Make sure you do not miss out on a chance for your young family members to create art this summer!

Noblesville Creates:

Adventures in Art Camp: Let your kids get their hands dirty and their heads thinking creatively over summer break! Noblesville Creates is partnering with the Noblesville Township Trustee Office to offer two free week-long summer camps this July! Campers will get a hands-on exploration of various artistic media with projects changing daily. Dabble in 3D and 2D art-making processes including sculpture, painting, mixed-media, and more! Beat the heat with cool art projects.

Each camp day offers a one-hour session tailored for different age groups. All materials and guided instruction provided. Because this camp is sponsored by the Noblesville Trustee’s Office, participants must attend Noblesville schools or have a Noblesville address. Registration required: Limit of 20 campers per session.

July 15th-19th – 11:00am to 12:00pm – Ages 4 to 6

July 15th-19th – 1:00pm to 2:00pm – Ages 7 to 9

July 15th-19th – 3:00pm to 4:00pm – Ages 10 to 12

Hamilton County Artists’ Association 

Kids Art Camp: The Hamilton County Artists’ Association is excited to offer another week of art instruction and inspiration to area children at its annual Kids Art Camp. During this four-day event, participants will be encouraged to experiment with different forms of creativity while they also learn about the history of the artists and various art forms. Members of the HCAA Juried Artists will be available to help instruct and encourage the children as they create projects to take home and enjoy. Cost is $45 per child. Nature Made Art Camp: Young artists will explore nature through observation and imagination in this week-long art camp! Participants will study plants, animals, and other subjects from nature to create works of art. Artists will create with a variety of 2-dimensional mediums: drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. Cost includes an art shirt to protect clothing and keep at the conclusion of camp. Cost of the camp is $250.  

July 8th-12th – Ages 5 to 8 – 9:00am to 11:00am

Caravan Classes

Miniature Fantasy Creature Habitat Camp: Design a miniature world habitat for an imagined creature. Campers will develop a concept for a creature that may exist in mythology already,(such as a dragon, unicorn, fairy, or Sasquatch) or possibly hasn’t been thought of. We will provide a variety of mediums to create both the creature and habitat. We will explore concepts of animal science and discuss what living things need to survive along with incorporating those elements in our habitats. Habitats will measure at least 12×12 inches if not larger. Single or fewer Day sign ups will take home a smaller project. Cost is $32 to $160.

June 3rd-7th – Ages 8 to 15 – 10:00am to 1:00pm

Art & Nature Camp: Ages Campers will explore nature by taking excursions in town and on the river walk area. We will be learning natural processes to create art and will be creating nature themed pieces as well. Cost is $32 to $160.

June 10th-14th – Ages 6 to 12 – 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Art Camp: Campers will learn some art history, create an art/ drawing journal and works of art that reflect what they have learned using a variety of mediums and techniques. Cost is $32 to $160.

June 17th-21st – Ages 6 to 12 – 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Teen Photography Camp: Campers will learn a variety of important elements to photography including composition, editing, lighting, printing and more. Campers are required to have a digital camera or phone with a camera of their own. Cost is $140.

June 10th-14th – Ages 12 and 19 – 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Kiln Creations

Kiln Creations is hosting weeklong summer camps, and would love to see your kiddos there! Choose the full week, or just one session. Each day is a whirlwind of themed projects, and every camper gets their very own art journal for doodles and lesson prep. Let the creativity flow! Cost varies.  

Themed Weeks:

Sweets Week 6/3-6/7: We’ll paint, create and shape all things sweet like doughnut banks, cookie boxes, cake platters and more!

Outer Space 6/10-6/14: Your little artist will become an outer space enthusiast after this star-studded camp!

Studio Ghibli 6/17-6/21: Enter Totoro’s neighborhood and get spirited away with us as we immerse ourselves in Miyazaki’s world. 

Mushrooms 6/24-6/28: This humble fungus provides unexpected inspiration for our art this week!

Dragons & Dinos 7/1-7/5: We are living in an oversized jungle of our imagination this week as we create art that honors our scaly friends. ** 

Pets 7/8-7/12: Bring pictures of your furry friends- or the furry friends you wish your family would let you love on-and we’ll make art honoring them.

Animation 7/15-7/19: We will explore the animation style that most of us know and love, that brought us the famous rodent. 😉

Clay 7/22-7/26: Get messy in the mug with us this week as we create functional and fun pieces.
