“We are deeply moved by our community’s commitment to supporting and growing the creative economy,” said Noblesville Creates Director Ailithir McGillI. “The generous support for our Gala proves that arts and culture are a vital part of what makes our community a healthy and vibrant place forresidents and businesses, and it was wonderful to spend an evening together having fun, while also gathering support for our organization’s work.”
This year, the Gala brought in more than $73,223 worth of value and support for the mission of Noblesville Creates, which is 21% higher than the total raised last year.
Money raised from ticket sales and the silent auction this year will go toward developing the Creative Economy, which aims to make an economic impact in the Noblesville region through arts and culture. The funds will also help Noblesville Creates host their major events in 2025, including Comic Book in a Day, HATCH Fest, Day of the Dead, and Fairyville. Additionally, the money will provide essential professional support to artists, graphic designers, singers, actors, and many other creative small business owners.
In 2023, Noblesville Creates’ program and services served nearly 19,000 people, supported 37 FTE jobs, and drove nearly $726,650 in household income in Hamilton County.
Some of last year’s money raised from the fund-a-need portion of the Gala went to help develop Noblesville Creates’ first ever Arts Crawl coming up on October 12, 2024.
