02 May Noblesville Fabric Art Show To Accept Submissions through July 22, 2023
Noblesville, IN – The Hamilton County Bicentennial Noblesville Township Representative, in partnership with Noblesville Creates, will host as the township’s signature event a Fabric Arts Show in August of 2023.
Each township in Hamilton County will be highlighted during a different month of 2023, and while Noblesville Township’s month is July and Wayne Township’s month is August, in order to highlight Noblesville as much as possible, the showcase will take place during August in Noblesville, with opening reception on August 4th, 2023, during First Friday, and People’s Choice Awards ceremony on September 1st, 2023.
There are two categories in the Fabric Arts Show: heirloom or antique, and modern or newly created. In order to be considered for the show, pieces must have a Hamilton County connection either through subject, maker, or current owner. People may submit more than one piece. The Bicentennial encourages artistic interpretations of Hamilton County’s history through new pieces of fabric art. Applicants can fill out a form to submit their pieces for consideration beginning January 9th, 2023: LINK, where they can also find more information about location and rules for entering. The deadline for submissions is July 22nd, 2023.
