22 Apr Revolving Mural Program
In May, 2025, Noblesville Creates kicked off a new project to bring more art into downtown Noblesville and provide more opportunities for artists. Our goal is to host temporary murals on the north side of the Judge Stone House through the spring, summer and fall.
We first tested this idea in April, 2024 during the total solar eclipse, featuring artwork from Hamilton County Tourism. In 2025, we’ll feature original digital images from local artists.
As funding allows, we hope that the program will run from May through November, with the image changing every two months. The material used for these murals can only adhere properly during warmer weather, so we will have to explore other ways to activate this space in the winter.
Our first image is “[insert title]” by artist Derien Cole of Crafted by Cole. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Derien and his artwork.
To keep this program going, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each temporary mural costs about $3000 for design, production, and installation. We are looking for donors and sponsors who can help us offset these costs. If you provide $250 or more, you can have your name or logo included at the bottom of an upcoming mural.
We are seeking support for this program. Anyone who would like to support this project can do so by clicking here or sending a check to our campus with “Revolving Murals” in the memo.
Spring, 2026: Yellow Peonies by Michael Janosky

Michael Janosky is a studio artist at Noblesville Creates. He grew up in Michigan City, in the northwest corner of Indiana, an environment dominated by Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes Lakeshore, by wind and stunning sunsets. “I have been creating visual art for as long as I can remember,” he said. “I began working in oils as a youngster in the 1970’s. I always have had an interest in art and at an early age remember watching art documentaries, art instruction shows on PBS, and also reading about the arts in the newspaper and magazines. I looked forward to the Arts and Entertainment section of the Chicago Tribune as much as the comics and sports pages.”
While primarily self-taught, he went on to study art history and art appreciation at Purdue University, along with taking oil painting and photography instruction at the Northern Indiana Artists Association in Munster. His passion for art today, however, has its roots in his fascination with it as a youngster.

Fall, 2025: Happy Life by H. Ward Miles

H. Ward Miles is a contemporary painter based in Noblesville, Indiana whose work is shaped by her ability to connect to the human experience. heavily influenced by traditional abstract expressionism, Miles’ paintings rely on less tangible forms of communication, evoking joy and sometimes sorrow through organic shapes, unexpected colors and translucent layers. her personal mark making and scribbled notes create a visual language that lets her audience in on her secrets and connects the past to the present, while tapping into a universal portrayal of what it means to be human.
