14 Oct Artist Call Out: Noblesville City Hall Art Gallery
The City of Noblesville and Noblesville Creates are currently seeking 2D and 3D artists to exhibit in December 2020 and the entire 2021 season at the City Hall Art Gallery. Selected artwork will hang in the gallery for approximately one month. The program will showcase artwork by local artists in the Hamilton County region.
We are looking for artists or art organizations to exhibit during the months of January – December. Art organizations will be selected for the months of January, March, May, July, September and November. Artists will be selected for the months of February, April, June, August, October and December (2020 as well as 2021).
The gallery space available consists of a hanging rail track exhibit and two glass paneled cabinets that are approximately 5’ in length with 2 shelves each for 3D art. Based on the size of the art, we can accommodate approximately 40 pieces on the rail track.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Artists must submit the following to Kayla Arnold (karnold@noblesville.in.us) by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020.
- Your name and contact information (phone, email and physical address)
- Residency (Noblesville, Hamilton County, outside of Hamilton County)
- Statement detailing what you will provide along with pictures (JPG/PNG; if art exists) or a description of art to be created
- Please note that priority will be given to Noblesville residents
REMEMBER:
- The art is in public space and must be appropriate for all ages.
- We are looking for 3-5 pieces from each artist as a general guideline for non-organization months.
- If you are interested in an exclusive show or semi-exclusive show, please let us know.
