Get ready for some wintertime fun on Saturday, December 2, for the 3rd annual Glühwein Gallop 5k Run/Walk! This event starts at 9:00 a.m., and the race starts and ends at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt.
The Glühwein Gallop draws its name from the German word Glühwein (pronounced 'glue vine'), which translates to "glowing wine" in English. Glühwein is a delicious mulled wine that is served warm in different flavors. Glühwein and its special mugs are one of the biggest attractions each year at the Market.
NEW FOR 2023...we are excited to announce that mugs can be purchased for an additional $6 during event registration! Mug quantity will be limited, so reserve yours NOW!
Awards will be offered for overall winner and age-groups. Additionally, there will be a costume contest for participants - and the wackier the costume, the better!
