We're collaborating with the Lacy Arts Building to present a unique comic book event! Meet local comic book creators, shop for comic books, original art, and prints. We'll also have cool door prizes, like a $50 gift certificate to Comic Carnival!
Each creator will get a few minutes to present about themselves and the topic of their choice: They might talk about their favorite childhood toy, the first comic book they ever read, the best piece of artistic advice they ever received, or something even more random!
Whether you are a long-time comic book fan, or just getting started in the hobby, this will be a fun and unique way to spend your Saturday!
Show & Tell presentations will begin at 11 am.
Creators at this event will include:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artists Gavin Smith and Stuart Sayger and writer Paul Allor.
- Prowl artist and writer Adam Fields
- Andy Holzman, founder of the ASH comic book show, which ran for 30+ years in Indianapolis
- Kelsey Simpson, coordinator of the local Gluestick Zine Fest
- Brianna Stevens, reigning Comic Book in a Day Champion
- Damani Edmundson, artist and comic book creator
- Jason Funk, creator of Funk World
