Textured yarns are one way we create visual effects in our finished textiles. And the beautiful thing is there are many ways to achieve interesting results! You do not have to be an experienced spinner--you just have to know how to spin a basic single. We will spin different breeds that, by their nature, spin up with extra loft or more halo. We will also experiment with various preparation methods and blends. Toss in some silk noil! Leave those long wool locks intact! Come get your hands “dirty” and see how enchanting it is to create textured yarns.
