Can I Visit Comic Book in a Day?

While a main feature of Comic Book in a Day on January 18th at the Ignite Studio of the Fishers Library is for Challenge Artists to make their own original comic book pages to be included in an anthology, there are all kinds of things for fans of all levels and ages to enjoy during the event. Make sure to stop by between 10:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. to see the following:

Watch Challenge Artists of all levels and ages create their comic book pages

Talk to a local expert about Manga

Talk to professional comic book artists and watch them work

Purchase this special print for $10 and have it signed by the 3 professional and the winner of the 2024 contest

Learn about the history of Comic Books with a display designed by Aili McGill and Stuart Sayger

Take your picture flying high over a city landscape

In addition to their regular activities, the Ignite Studio will have special themed comic book activities including making a light-up pin, using figure templates to make your own comic art, and more

Each Challenge Artist will present their finished artwork: Youth (ages 12 & under) will present around 2:45pm and the Adults/Teens will present around 4:15pm
