HCCF Seeks Artists for an Installation

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: COLLABORATION HUB ART INSTALLATION

Hamilton County Community Foundation (HCCF) seek an artist or artists to create artwork for installation in the new Collaboration Hub in Fishers. The Collaboration Hub has a central wall on which HCCF wants to hang three pieces of art that are 2.5’ x 5’ and celebrate the Community Foundation’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and growing opportunities for everyone. Artists may be selected for one or more of these pieces. This installation will be a key focal point for the Collaboration Hub, which will be used by not-for-profit organizations and businesses serving not-for-profits from all over Hamilton County and Central Indiana.

Sunday, June 20th at 11:59 p.m.

RESOURCES:
A not-for-profit gathering space for Central Indiana, the Collaboration Hub is currently open for private and personal meetings. The Collaboration Hub’s home, Hamilton County Community Foundation, is now scheduling meeting room rental appointments, including training sessions and programming for later this year.

Prior to the development of this space, there was no one central location in Hamilton County where not-for-profit organizations, civic groups, and business leaders come together in a neutral setting to achieve common goals. The Collaboration Hub allows these groups to come together, break down silos, and achieve outcomes like the creation and execution of a socially innovative eco-system, cross-sector collaboration, economic benefits, operational efficiencies, and implementation of key community leadership initiatives. Community foundations are at their best when working with donors, granting to not-for-profit organizations, and leading and convening in the community. HCCF’s unique role positions them well to manage the Collaboration Hub, and to partner with organizations who will provide trainings, collaborations, and cohorts.

The Grand Opening event for the Collaboration Hub is scheduled for August 19th, at which point membership organizations and businesses will begin meeting in the space regularly. It is estimated that in any given month dozens, if not hundreds, of local leaders and social influencers will visit the space.

Below is a series of images of the space.  The wall on which the artwork for this project will be installed is the blue wall seen below and in the left side of the first picture in the second row – it is a wall that can be seen from nearly every part of the Hub.
