Noblesville Parks Seeks Artists for Projects

Noblesville Parks Seeks Artists for Projects

Local artists: want to make your mark on one of our most commonly visited spots? The Noblesville Parks Department has issued RFQs for two unique projects that will take place within Forest Park, just a short walk from the downtown area.

The first project is a restoration of the artwork on Forest Park’s historic carousel.  This carousel is nearly 100 years old and needs a little bit of a facelift: the genre scenes and western imagery depicted around the carousel need touching up, and some sections of the carousel may need to be replaced. An artist with previous experience in restoration would be a perfect fit. For more information, see the RFQ here: Carousel Restoration

The second project is to design and paint two crosswalks along the Forest Park walking trail. One or more artists will be selected to develop a design and then paint the crosswalks (with the help of volunteers). For more information, see the RFQ here: Crosswalks
