Prism Project of Fishers Seeks Artist-Leaders:

The Prism Project of Fishers is looking for artists to serve as music and dance directors for upcoming projects. This project takes place on Saturday mornings between 01/20/22 and 03/20/22 (with a couple of exceptions for training, final show rehearsal, and final show).  Please contact Kelly Fischer kfischer@bsu.edu for more detailed information or to apply .

Music Director:  $1,000 stipend

Duties include:

  • Attending and leading the weekly rehearsals
  • Attending the weekly debrief meetings
  • Leading group and individualized instruction during rehearsals
  • Choosing and Instructing music for the show
  • Collaborating with the Theater Director and Dance Director
  • Choosing cast members when your opinion is solicited
  • Meeting with all Directors when necessary
  • Attending and assisting with performance including but not limited to stage direction, song cues and transition
  • Assisting with set production and organization  

Theater Director:  $1,000 stipend 

Duties include:

  • Attending and leading the weekly rehearsals 
  • Attending the weekly debrief meetings 
  • Leading group and individualized instruction during rehearsals 
  • Overseeing the overall rehearsal and show concept and direction 
  • Collaborating with the Music Director and Dance Director 
  • Choosing cast members when your opinion is solicited 
  • Meeting with all Directors when necessary 
  • Writing the final show script 
  • Attending and assisting with performance including but not limited to stage direction, song cues and transitions 
  • Assisting with set production and organization

Dance Director:  $1,000 stipend 

Duties include: 

  • Attending the weekly rehearsals 
  • Attending the weekly debrief meetings 
  • Leading group and individualized instruction during rehearsals 
  • Choreographing dance sequences for the show 
  • Collaborating with the Music Director and Theater Director 
  • Meeting with all Directors when necessary 
  • Attending consulting meetings with the Program Coordinator when necessary 
  • Assisting with the performance including but not limiting to stage direction, song cues and transitions (i) Assisting with set production and organization
