Deck the Downtown

Join us for #FirstFridays in Downtown Noblesville! The City of Noblesville is hosting Lights over Seminary and the Santa House will be back on the square! The downtown merchants will be open until MIDNIGHT so you can get all your holiday shopping done!

Festive AF
December 3rd

Kiln Creations, 60 N 9th St in Noblesville
Adults only pottery. Come out and enjoy some art therapy with us while we glaze some fun additions to your china cabinet.
You can add choice naughty sentiments to any piece of pottery with easy-to-use silkscreens. We provide the lesson on how to silkscreen. Then, decorate your pieces so they’re *#%$ing beautiful. The silkscreens fit on mugs, bowls, plates, boxes, cannisters…. everything you want to display your affinity for 4-letter words.
Since this is a special event, we are requiring advance reservations with a $10 per person non-refundable deposit. All attendees must have a reservation to guarantee a seat for the event. Feel free to bring drinks, we’ll provide the snacks!

Hamilton County Artists’ Association Under $100 Holiday Exhibit
December 3rd-18th
Reception: December 3rd, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Regular gallery hours: Saturdays, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
The Birdie Gallery of HCAA, 195 S. 5th St., Noblesville
The Juried members of Hamilton County Artists’ Association present their annual Fine Art and Gift Market! Find unique works of art and handcrafted items as perfect one-of-a-kind gifts for the holiday season. Most paintings in the exhibit will be priced under $100. Many of the Holiday Market items in the Birdie Gallery Gift Shop will be priced under $20. Hours are Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through December 18th.

Winter Wonderland of Art at the Art Gallery at City and ONLINE!

Meet artists and creatives making new works, ask questions, and learn about their mediums. Find the most unique holiday gift for friends and family, directly from a local artist. Plus – make & take classes in Alcohol Ink and Weaving will be available on a first come, first serve basis for a $5 donation.

Handbuilt Christmas Trees
December 4th

Join us to create unique Christmas trees out of wet clay! Create either look in a 6 inch or 12 inch tree.
Scalloped tree: Evoke a beachy theme with a scalloped edge tree that looks like stacked seashells.
Ribbon Tree: From ribbon candy to ribbon on gifts, what is more indicative of the holidays than a ribbon tree?
Price includes firing and painting with specialty glazes. We will build the tree and paint it in one day. These classes have limited seating, so be sure to reserve your ticket soon! Tickets are non-refundable. Trees take about 10 days to get fired.

Handprint Ornaments

Join us for this festive holiday activity. Choose whether to do feet, hands or both and what design you would like!
You can reserve a spot for just one handprint in any design at $18, or supply all of your Christmas presents with holiday prints by buying 5 prints for $72. We will finish the painting for you, so in three weeks, you pick up a finished product!
You may combine feet and hands in the buy 5 deal, and multiple children can make up the 5. Please note which designs you would prefer on your order form and your child’s name as you would like it to appear on the piece.

Glass Alcohol Ink Ornaments
December 10th and 12th

$25 per person

We are getting messy with alcohol ink again and creating these great ornaments for all your holiday celebrations. Priced Right for hostess gifts, stocking stuffers or decor! All ages welcome in this class, because we won’t be setting the ink aflame.
For $25 you get three glass ornaments, access to all of our high quality alcohol inks, and instructions on how to create a beautiful ornament. The class is a short one, just an hour, and we’ll have plenty of time for you to add more on if you wish! These items leave with you the same day!
We are limiting this to 12 people per class so get your tickets soon! Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We do understand life happens though, should you need to cancel, you can use your ticket fee as a gift certificate for anything in the store.

Fused Glass Ornaments
December 11th

We love making glass art, and we think you will too! Join us for this great opportunity to make beautiful creations. We will teach you several way to use glass in order to create lasting treasures.
For $45, you’ll make four ornaments: Two 2×2 inch square ornaments, a snowflake ornament and an icicle ornament. You can also create more for a class special of just $14 per ornament. Let your creativity flow!
These ornaments are fused glass, and will need to take a hot dip in the kiln the day of. You can pick up your creation the next week.

Tablet (Card Weaving) for Beginners

Tabby Tree Weaver, 9832 North By Northwest Blvd in Fishers
In this class you will learn to use an inkle loom and tablets to weave simple designs. With the same threading, you will be able to weave pattern variations depending on how you turn the tablets. It is fun to experiment and see what new patterns you can create!
Bringing your own loom is recommended, but I have looms in the store that students can borrow if needed. The advantage of having your own loom is that you can take your project home to complete it. Class time will likely not be enough to weave an entire band. You also have the option of purchasing an inkle loom before the class.
Material costs will vary depending on the yarns you choose to use, but it will likely be less than $10. Additionally, you will need a set of weaving cards which I sell for $7.99 (12 count).

Glass Christmas Trees

For $40 you’ll piece together two trees with your choice of colors and design, learn about glass, and pick up your finished beauties in a week. We are limiting this class to 8 participants, so book your ticket soon!

Hohoho! Gnome Painting
December 17th
6 p.m.-8 p.m.
$5 per person
You love gnomes. You love Christmas! Let’s smash them together!
$5 covers your class fee, then you pay for your piece the night of. We’ll walk you through this step by step to put this design on a mug or plate! We have mugs and plates starting at $26.
When you paint with us, it takes one week for your pottery to be ready for pick up. Reservations are non-refundable.

Gal’s Guide to the Galaxy Game Night: Food

Gal’s Guide to the Galaxy Book Club: Favorite Books of the Year
